IPTV on Apple TV: What to Expect

Apple TV supports IPTV, but the experience depends a bit on which generation you own and what's currently available in the tvOS App Store in your region.

The AirPlay fallback

When no suitable tvOS app is available, installing a player on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac and AirPlaying to the Apple TV is a reliable alternative that works consistently across Apple devices.
